Thanks for inquiring about Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraising and our distribution changes. Last year, we evaluated our delivery systems to determine the most efficient method of delivering Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough and sweet baked goods to our fundraising customers. As a result of that analysis, we made the decision to transition from an internal Route Delivery system using our Otis Spunkmeyer trucks and instead are servicing our fundraising customers through local food distributors in their area. Not only will this change allow us to better meet the needs of our customers and continue offering the highest levels of service, but it also allows us to be a truly national fundraising company. We are no longer limited by a specific square mileage around our former sales centers. Now, any school or group in the continental United States looking to make more money with the most delicious and well know cookie brand out there can get an Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser. If you have any additional questions about our program or want to learn more, please call 888-ASK-OTIS option 3 or visit www.otisfundraisingideas.com. Thanks again for your interest in Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraising. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming PTO Today Expos. Please visit our booth and have some delicious fresh baked cookies.
We had our delivery at the end of last year and our delivery guy said that Otis would be using UPS/Fedex. Our Otis delivery people have always gone through the order with us and double checked that we received exactly what was ordered. This will not be happening with the new delivery system.
Has anyone heard that Otis Spunkmeyer is closing distribution centers across the nation? If so, how do they plan on delivering? A local fundraising rep told me that the distribution centers were closed in January. He also said that there are a couple of schools that received their Otis cookie delivery in early January. The delivery date was scheduled for December.
