What is your school's mascot? A school near some family is famous for their big cat mascot so they call theirs "The Pawsome Auction". Got the point across and everyone knows who and what is being promoted. Perhaps you could go with something referencing the school like that. Look to your school motto if the mascot doesn't offer much inspiration.
If all else fails, GOOGLE. Work smarter, not harder. What are other schools around the country --world even -- using as their slogans? You'll certainly find inspiration there.
Hi All, we are ready to design our marketing collateral for our annual school auction fundraiser dinner that has to come out in January and the committee is having a hard time coming up with a catchy slogan for the event theme that captures the essence of the night.
Usually we do something really themey like Mardi Gras, but this year the committee really wants to go back to basics with the theme and marketing and remind people that the fundraising during the night is for the kids and the school. An idea has been "Reach For the Stars," but we dont think that track really captures what we are trying to do. We need an event theme that can have some appropriate themed graphics with it (poster, flyer, invitation) that captures the idea that the evening is about raising money for the kids and school programs..."reach" isnt quite the right word.
Does anyone have any ideas, or have had a theme/slogan at their school or community fundraiser that is similar to this? Any ideas would be much appreciated!
