Found the screen where we can login and each family can print off their annual eBoxtops earned.......
Still going to be a bit of a logistical nightmare........as if they turn in the printout of eBoxtops in October and then earn more and turn them in for the spring contest - it will have the total yearly earned.....but we will have already counted the fall ones - and do not want to count them twice when earning once.
But at least if their child's class can get credit they will do it - and for that much money we will find a way to track it!
I don't know if you can do it with Giant Eagle, but Kroger (rewardyourschool), Albertsons (growinglocallearning) let you look at your transaction online, so the student could have their parent print a screen shot of their transactions. Of course if you have siblings trying to use the same page, that will be an issue.
We have a successful Boxtops collecting program - earned $4,400 at our K-5 school of 380 students last year.
The heart of our success is counting boxtops weekly and updating the classroom totals on a big poster in the lobby.....classes compete for rewards during 3 different contests during the year - and they love to see how they are doing.
About 20% of our boxtops came from Bonus Boxtops offered by the local grocery store (Giant Eagle)...you purchase certain items each month at get bonus boxtops for 10-70 boxtops printed on your receipt.
OK.....here is the PROBLEM-
Giant Eagle now wants us to register for eBoxtops - it is super easy and when you make the bonus puchase the boxtops are automatically added to our school's account - no losing the slip, forgetting to send it in before expiration, paying for shipping, etc. BUT the problem is that mean there is NO WAY TO TRACK which classroom those bonus boxtops come from.
I know that if their student's class does not get 'credit' for those purchases....we are much less likely to have anyone participate.
