Hi, just thought I would update this. We just did a fundraiser with Mixed Bag Designs and had a great experience. They have a prize program available for all types of organizations and schools - ours worked well for getting the kids pumped up. Everyone loved the bags and it was really easy to sell.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new fundraiser company.
We ran a Mixed Bags fundraiser for the first time in October. It went well; we made about 25% more than we expected to (in the budget). True-- the company doesn't provide prizes and such, but we provided a shaved ice party for the class selling the most items and a $25 gift card for the students with the most sales (school also sells gift cards as a fundraiser). Bags are really well-made and were popular in our community. We are using the online option for year-around orders, but the kickback is about half of what a targeted two week sale made for us.
We used them last month. I didn't run the fundraiser, but it went well. The downsides are that you have to sort everything yourself, they don't give trinket incentives, and they don't have an online ordering option. We didn't make quite as much money as with the Great American company, but people really liked the bags. It was good to have a change from our usual fundraiser.
