Our school has used Flower Power with good success for a small school. It's even better now as you can have each individual order directly shipped to each customer and still get 50% profit! It's super easy!!
I've used them and thought the flowers were great. The first time I made the mistake of placing the order really early and not paying attention to the shipping date so there was almost 2 months between when I closed the fundraiser and when the flowers shipped. That was totally my fault - the info states when the orders will ship. Other than that we've made decent money every time! And I have some beautiful bulbs in my yard
I just finished a fundraiser with them and although I found it little work for a high profit, the record keeping on their part was terrible. I needed copies of all the invoices for our school's records and spoke to 3 managers in their business before someone could offer me any type of invoice. What was sent to us was completely unacceptable and confusing for our back office people to decipher.
Needless to say, the amount of time I had to put in just to receive an invoice will keep me from working with this company again.
Also, our order was placed weeks ago and only yesterday after a few more phone calls did I get someone to tell me they would be sent out today.
We just concluded a Flower power fundraiser...I thought it was pretty successful. Our profit was over $1500 with very little work. About 1/3 of the people ordered online, which was no work at all to me and the rest sent checks and order forms in. The hardest part was making sure that every order had an address on it! I say go for it!! 50% profit is great!
I've used it successfully. The company has good communication and the products are high quality. We set up a table at the local grocery store to supplement individual sales that really helped, too.
Yes, we used them two years ago for a spring fundraiser. Nothing wrong with the company, but it wasn't a big success for us so we didn't do it again. We never got any complaints from anyone about bulbs not blooming receiving dead plants or anything like that.
