I run these Google searches to find companies locally that donate:

• my city Product donation request
• my city online donation request
• my city donation guidelines
• my state Product donation request -another state (for me, I live in Missouri, so I enter "Missouri product donation request -Maine) because this takes out companies with a drop down box of all states in their form
• my state online donation request -another state
• my state donation guidelines

I also have a bunch of donation request forms in my car and hand them out when I go to a company that has not yet been contacted. (I'm the auction chair, so I keep a master list of contacted businesses to make sure we don't go to the same business more than once, as well as a list of places other people have volunteered to contact already.)

Does anyone know of a way to locate companies that donate in your area? Somewhere I read a post and lost it, can anyone help if was like google your state something along those lines. Can't find it to save my life. THanks. Carolyn
