Thanks to all who responded! After checking online sites I decided to check local and was happy to discover a company in my town that will make them for .95 each so with a $10 price point we will have a good profit margin.
I plan to have each girl sell at least 20 cards, wish me luck :o)
Entertainment also has a new card program they call the Neighborhood Savings Spree. It is like a miniature Entertainment Book designed for your group. It has your logo, picture, name on the front cover and you select the offers you want from the Entertainment database...no more going out and having to find the merchants yourself! They will do all the printing for you at no cost...and no risk, no money up front, you only pay for what you sell. Profit ranges from 50-65% based on sales. We are going with this for our school fundraiser in Winchester, VA next fall. The book even has a code to go to digitalsavingsclub and our parents will be able to download coupons for all over Northern VA! Give them a call and find a local rep to go over any questions...OURS is great!
I do know that sally foster is doing them now, at least they are in my area. We too looked at them, but the deals are not as good as they used to be. A lot of the fast food places are doing coupons so they are not that great of deals. I would look into Sally foster and see if they are doing them in your area. From what I understand you can use some online discounts from the entertainment book as a bonus for buying the card. I don't know much about it, but it is a thought
I am interested in ordering some discount cards as a fundraiser. Our local football booster used to do them and the public LOVED them! I always bought my $10 card that gave discounts to popular eateries, beauty salons, bowling alleys, etc. You know the cards, they were similar to a credit card with the organization on one side and a list of participating companies on te other.
I have Googled my brains out looking for a good card manufacturer and the choices are overwhelming. I figured you all may know of some reputable companies I should look into, or warn me away from some less-than-honest ones.
