I do not know who your sales rep for QSP is, but I would be more that happy to send you the letter that my school got about the 2.00 charge. I think sales reps will say anything to get business. Feel free to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I will send you the letter from QSP.
Have you spoken to the QSP rep? I'm sure that person would be able to explain. When dealing with a company your group has contracted with, always start with the companies sales rep.
Many fundraising companies provide catalogs/brochures at no cost to schools, but expect a certain amount of sales to be achieved. If your group did not meet that minimum, they may be charging to process the orders. Or, it could be nothing at all, but you'll get the most direct answer from your rep.
I can understand your position. You really have no idea who I am or anyone else on this site. At the same time, however, I think it is important for people to hear other viewpoints. Perhaps you could invite QSP to respond to the surcharge. Just an idea. You do a great job!

Hi Folks-
Have been doing a bit of editing on this thread. Just a reminder of our
message boards rule
of "playing nice." More specifically, questions and disagreements are part of message boards -- they are not, however, an opportunity for company reps to put down other companies.
If you are a parent group leader and have some insight into a situation, please jump in.
Thanks,
~Lisa
