My husband was a sally foster rep this past year and it is true about the $20 card and all. My school will no longer be using them. I am on the hunt for a new fundraiser
"Dad" is right...just imagine the kids trying to explain this program to their "customers". It's a total ripoff for the customer and the school, but for the company...."it's all good".
We have done catalog sale for the last 4 yrs and our delivery is so smooth and worth the 50% profits and HUGE too, that we make each yr.
If you are happy with no delivery, perhaps you should look at other companies that only offered home delivery in the past. It was going to be the wave of the future. that concept sank faster than the Titanic! Most schools only made 1/4 of what they did before using a catalog.
At my school, delivery last about 20 minutes and the company did all the work and answered all the complaints. What did you have to do that made delivery day so unpleasant?
You are right, we do not know for sure, but I am betting the gift card idea is a complete fiasco.
We love the idea of no longer having a delivery!! Gift cards seem to be the wave of the future and I love the idea. Unfortunately, some of the catalog companies we used to work with are out of business...so maybe they are onto something...only time will tell!!
Is Sally Foster innovative or just trying to get rid of that end of their company? they make their money with the entertainment books, not gift wrap. By the way, Sally herself was let go. She has no connection with this present company.
