I honestly have to say I LOVE you guys! I never knew this option even existed. I put a request in for our school's Fun Fair 2 days ago and have a 'Request Granted' email today!! I am So Excited to see how our families react to our new addition!
Thank you so much for posting this information. I filled out the information online last Thursday and received automated updates. The very next morning (less than 24 hours after I entered the request), I received an email stating our request was granted!
I have been involved with our parent club for several years so I was able to fill out the application on the spot. You will need the tax i.d., details about the event, names of the organizations leaders, etc. Nothing too strenuous.
I was very impressed with the incredibly quick turnaround and thrilled with the approval! This is for our annual fundraiser dinner/auction in March. Exciting! Now off to find a hotel . . . .
For those that got the Disney request, it seems there is some follow up one has to do and I'm confused on the information they are asking for. And did use the "ask for help" form but so far NO luck back from Disney on that end. And the due date is coming up in a few days.
Namely in regards to IRC Section 170(f)(8) - I'm gathering that is IRS Revenue Code for IRC.
