Sorry, that is what the rep from Innisbrook said. Actually, you should be concerned about a salesperson's commission. Fairly compensated salespeople will go out of their way to make sure your sale is successful instead of just so-so. Additionally, how many even "good" salespeople will stay with a company if they cannot even get a draw versus commission. As far as Innisbrook's cookie dough program, it is not inside information to find out who makes their cookie dough. As you always say, it pays to do your homework!
As a PTO parent, do I really need to care about the reps commission? That is not what this thread is about. I just wanted to get some feedback on a particular program, that's all.
You MUST be a rep for a company hiding behind your screen name to know all of this inside informaiton on all the other company's and what they do, and to be so versed on this stuff.....intersting.
Gee, I still cannot find anything about Innisbrook pre packing each student's order on their website. Seems like they would pump that feature. Many local companies will do that and they can offer the same cookie dough (Pine Valley cookie dough) that Innisbrook offers. Does Innisbrook pre sort or pre-pack? I have heard of companies sending their own crew to the school to meet the truck and pack all the orders by student. Does Innisbrook do that or does the orders arrive pre-packed?
Speaking of Innisbrook, one of their reps have told some of her schools that most of the reps in the company will be losing their draw next year, just straight commission. Any truth to that rumor.
Good to know...thanks. I have reviewed the info given to me about Innisbrooks. They changed their vendor for one...prices are $14 for cookie dough, highest price item is some pretzel cheese sticks at $17....they have gourmet coffee and cheesecakes and other stuff. Looks good at 40% profit and they student sort it for us.
We did Innibrook last year-- thought it would be great-- 40% and pre-packaged-- didn't find out until afterabout the shipping charges and you must order by case-- not indvidual item-- so we had a lot left over to try and sell. Cookies did sell, but the other frozen items we had problems with including pies that where 16-22.00 per pie to sell. Also the rep came the day of delivvery and then proceeded to take some of our extra cookie dough for her own school to have samples and gave cost price- not full price bak for the product-- wouldn't use them again-- Now Big
Apple has been great-- no case price-- free shipping if over a certain amount--- 40% profit and they are right in line with everyone else price wise- 14-15.00 per tub or box and only a few other frozen choices to pick from.
It does sound quite fishy....I have seen their name pop up all over this place of late. I just ask a simple, very specific questions and we get all sorts of ads.
Oh well....I guess just doing your own homework is the best way.
