I love this idea, one could put together a small website with all the links to the "vendors" and everyone could go to one place to view them. This is a great idea, and I am looking forward to reading more views on it..
Has anyone every tried a virtual bazaar. So instead of having booths, you approach representatives of catalog-type sales (Avon, Mary K, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, etc.) to give the organization a percentage of sales during a specific week or month.
Like the booth bazaar, you sign up as many as possible - but only one per type. Anyone who can take orders for merchandise and arrange delivery/pickup individually. It might include other types of business, such as a florist.
The idea would be that you create a flyer and promote to your constituents to buy from these businesses during the specified timeframe and give the group's code as a reference.
Ideally, this would be in the fall so purchase of Christmas gifts might be an incentive.
