We are currently running a salsa fundraiser with Casa De Jorge Salsa and so far everything seems to be running smoothly. The 50% profit and the fact that the salsas are healthy and allergen free is a plus.
We ask all of our members to keep their forum messages free of self-promoting advertisements or solicitation of any kind. Community members affiliated with a fundraising or a school services business should not include commercial contact information or URLs in their posts.
I love all you stories about your success. Can I contact someone to talk to them directly about their sales and success. This sounds like a great idea, but almost to good to be true.
I have been a pto member for many years, with my youngest recently starting 1st grade I have many years left, we have tried several different companies over the years and found salsa with salsafundraising to be a HUGE hit.
I was not amused at first, someone else suggested it and I thought it was a horrible idea BUT after doing it we found that people enjoyed something different. We did a cash and carry style sale, they were able to sample and then purchase the salsa on the spot.
Our sale was great! I have to admit that we are now doing another sale and will continue this for years to come, our parents love the salsa. We even purchase it for our pto potlucks!!
We work with a rep from salsa fundraising...George. Tell him GHSLV sent you.
We recently held a HUGE salsa fundraiser with MC Fundraisers. I found their ad in the yellow pages and we did the brochure style selling. Our k-3 was able to raise over $6000.00 with the salsa fundraiser. They also sell Jose Madrid Salsa, award winning salsa and lots to choose from. We are a small school and with only 3 grades selling salsa we did very well, larger schools would REALLY bring in a great profit with this. Our PTO will be doing this one again in the spring.
