I should be getting all that information next week when we meet with the out going prez. I was just curious. It was very successsful last year, but was wondering if with this economy it would do as well as some of the other ones I have been looking into (I really like Square1.) Thanks!!!
We are looking at this company as well;I wish their website had more info than just showing the catalog. The info we received in the mail looked pretty good, I just can't review it at home because I handed off all fundraising info we received to our Fundraising Chairperson.
We use Jaxco in NJ/NY area and we get 50% profit...I don't know if it is the same all over...but it is on the contract...check your copy...good luck. If you are in this area I have the name of the rep that handles the Northeast...
The out going board already have them set up for September and I had a few other ideas that I would prefer to use...but would be open Jaxco if it is worth the money.
I'll be meeting with the out going president in a few weeks and will hopefully get all the information I need from her then.
There is not one simple answer to that question. It depends on when you sign up with them, whether you do home delivery, and what catalogs you choose to purchase from. They do provide a contract that spells out your options; you should get your hands on the contract that your group signed last year and compare it to what they are offering this year. If they are offering lower percentages this year, talk to your sales rep--you might be able to negotiate a better rate. Our experience was that the JAXCO percentages were similar to other catalog fundraising companies.
I was just wondering if anyone knew what % of the total sales does the school get from Jaxco?
My school used them last year and have them slated for this upcoming year as well. I am a new president and want to be sure that this company is the best choice. THX
