I hear what your saying Momski and I don't doubt the need for more gluten free products. It's just from a supplier point of view I'm not sure they would be big sellers.
For us offering a product just has to appeal to the mass public. We would sell products to teams of different age groups so they could sell to friends and family. I can't see going door to door selling gluten free items a big seller.
We've been offering trail mix and other consumables with a healthy slant in addition to chocolates.
However I have past the gluten free idea to the boss, so we'll have to see where it goes from there.

LOL! You're probably eating some gluten free (GF) items and not even knowing it.
Being GF is not the end of the world and many companies are wising up to this growing market of consumers. Unfortunately the U.S. has the food pyramid backwards and relies on bread, pizza and pasta for their main food sources.
Rice Chex is now gluten free, peanut butter, hash brown potatoes, most cheeses, canned tuna, corn-based products like mexican foods, and asian rice noodle bowls are also GF.... I could go on and on.....
They're also seeing less severe autism when children go on a GF diet.

What ideas do you have for a nutritious fundraiser? I find that people want different options from chocolate these days. Especially sports clubs; They would like to sell something that represents them better than candy.
I want to get your feedback since I work for a fundraising company. I'm just getting opinions from you guys in order to see what products are of use to you.
