I am fairly new to PTO and I am seeking some feedback for a survey that our organizations is putting together. Due to the economy and our decreasing enrollment our PTO is really needing to make some changes financially.
We right now charge $15 for membership which includes a school directory. We are wanting to raise this a little and I would love to know what others charge for membership?
I know that there is a similar question to this on the message board but I am curious if there are any organizations out there that have totally eliminated fundraising and just done a suggested donation per student? If so what amount do you suggest to your families? Has this been successful to your school?
