Can you do a little concession stand at a school game? The last time we did candy for a fundraiser, we had lots left over and ended up selling at school games just to get rid of the candy. We are a K-8 so games were inhouse.
Does your school have a craft show for the holidays? If so, you can have a table to sell them (maybe they won't charge you a vendor fee). They can also be sold at your next meeting. I agree with the idea of sending home a note to use them as stocking stuffers - maybe you can suggest the parents purchase them as a teacher gift?
Ew--that's a good idea jingo--the stocking stuffer is cool as well...or perhaps you can sell the residuals outside of a store like Wal-Mart, with the stores permission of course, to rid the inventory and then put the proceeds into the PTO fund. Might take a Sunday morning but it might work.

HI,
I was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions. Our school purchased candy bars for an election day candy bar sale and we were left with quite a few. (we forgot about halloween). Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can sell them for the holidays? We cannot sell them to our students due to our wellness policy. They are $1.00 each. I thought maybe send a flyer home offering them for stocking stuffers ? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
