Do you have an auction any time during the year? We have used some for art projects. There are lots of crative things you could do with them and auction off the finished product.

The beginning of the year is usually the best time to sell this stuff. We had a huge over stockage last year and our spirit person was very inventive. She sold at all events where adults were going to be, we used spirit wear baskets in our bingos, we sold "Spirit Dollars" as stocking stuffers and also had a standing Friday morning sale where the kids could come by and get them. We also reduced the product's cost and had "sales" on certain ones. With the help of the Prinicipal we promoted a Spirit friday where teachers could wear jeans on Friday if they wore a spirit shirt. Finally, we asked the principal how many kids might enjoy shirts that couldn't afford them and then we "gifted" the shirts. We didn't make any money but it was a good show of support for the PTO.

We have been stuck with an enormous amount of school spirit shirts purchased from the prior PTO president and was wondering if you had some clever ideas on how to sell them! We have been sittin outside the school before and after classes and have sold at games but people don't seem to be buying them so much anymore.
