I have done a few of these. We charged $25 per table (only 1 company per table) and each vendor had to donate an item with a value of at least $20 to be raffled off. I wouldn't ask for a portion of the vendors profits, only because, they may not sell anything on site, most vendors do these shows to get their names out, get leads, book shows, and recruit. Some will sell cash & carry items, while others may take orders.
I don't have time to go into all the details right now, but you can email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I would be happy to give you more info.
Our school wants to do a vendor night as a fundraiser. We want to sell a table to different vendors: Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Partylite, etc., whoever wants to do it. We have never done one so we're not sure about all the details. How much to charge for the table, can we ask for a portion of the profits, what to ask for in the selection process?. Does anyone have experience with this sort of event? If so, any advice would be appreciated.
