I have coordinated the portrait fundraiser through picateers at my children's school (Mountain Elementary in Soquel, CA) for the past 2 years and am currently working on our 3rd portrait fundraiser. It has worked great for us. We are a very small public school of about 160 students but we raise about $2000 with every portrait fundraiser. It has been a really easy way to earn money for our art and music program. We also purchased camera's for every classroom. The fundraiser takes very little time and very few volunteers, but everyone participates. The customer support is excellent, and we've had help and solutions any time we needed it. I recommend picateers portrait program to every school!!
I saw an ad here on PTOtoday.com and clicked on it. It sounds too good to be true. I'd like to know if anyone has tried it and how it went, if it was worth it etc.
