We are running a Penny Party in October. We have themed gift baskets donated by our school familes, friends and staff. I also solicit donations from any company we can think of and our local businesses. I also try to get donations of the food, beverages and paper products donated to cover our kitchen. We order tickets from a printer which consists of 25 numbered perforated squares, 1 door prize stub and 1 stub to prove it is your number. We charge $5.00 admission which includes 1 sheet of the 25 tickets. We sell the additional sheets at $5.00 for 1 - $10.00 for 3 - $20.00 for 7. We are a small school with a small parish hall. We can only fit approximately 140 people after out committee sets up the hall for the party but we generate approximately $3,000.00.
KT--we did the normal 1 each and 6 for 5 and then I had a brainstorm and also added 75 for 50 dollars and 160 for 100 dollars. YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE how many folks took up the offer. We made about 4,000 just on baskets.
