Our board approved the purchase of merchandise outright, rather than go pre-pay. The remaining inventory amounts to at least 2000.00 (my estimate). Despite past experience with money losses over buying versus prepay, they approved a large buy of apparel.
Practically speaking, what can you do you with left over/dated merchandise (t-shirts) when this happens. It's spirit wear from last year.
As for the board member(s), how has this been handled when there's been an effort to conceal, or at least engage in wishful thinking about selling a lot of old product.
