Back to the Catalog Companies - Jaxco?

16 years 5 months ago #143347 by mum24kids
We used Jaxco last year, and will use them again this year. I happen to prefer the quality and designs for Sally Foster on wrapping paper, but the Jaxco quality is very good--they sell American Greetings brand paper. We had no complaints on the content of the catalogs, either. We were extremely happy with Jaxco's service, too.

As a former rep for Sally Foster here in Orlando Florida, I can tell you that it really comes down to what do you want for your school. It is up to the sales rep to help you with making your sales a success, and doing this actually begins at the time you sign a contract.

Keep in mind that you must feel comfortable with the sales rep. Ask for a proposal with those things that are importatant to you. For example confirme delivery date, help with printing of letters, extra prizes, live kickoff, extra percentage for sales over a specific net amount.

As far as product is concerned Sally Foster has the best paper, but not enough gift items, Jaxco has plenty but can they provide the service you want?, and Innisbrooke is usually 12% higher than all other companies.....You can do the math on all catalogs....Most of all remember you want to make the most with the least amount of headaches.:)

Our school has used Jaxco for the last 2 years. We have been very pleased with our profits. We use Jaxco as our first fundraiser and we truly appreciate how they handle all the finances and any discrepancies.

hz8faxHi we used Jaxco last fall.....We were very pleased ....A+ for service, product and delivery time. I was pleased by the variety...Kwanza, Christmas, Hannakah.......public schools have a wide variety of cultures and religions......there were no objections from parents. It's a catalog...no one is pushing religion and no one being forced to buy. Some people are more private about their beliefs, religion can be a very hot issue.....but it doesn't mean we shouldn't offer the product....just my opinion.

Have you talked with the rep and said you needed better turnaround time? We have worked with Innisbrook for years and sign up early every year. Our turnaround time is about a month. What is causing you to feel slighted? You should stick up for what you want and be clear with what you need. Are you getting good product? Do you have lots of errors or is it easy. Do you need to add anything to jazz it up like cookie dough or something?

We used Sally Foster last year-- and since we did their cookie dough sale and Entertainment books, they were able to give better percentages on the three events.
They were very helpful with each event and replacement of broken or missing items was very quick.-- I only wish they gave 50% on the catalog-- but a plus is that for cookie dough they come in and help with the delivery.
Also they come and help with the catalog sale and are available if you need anything.
