I may be a little late with this post but I highly recomend MaestroSoft/ MaestroWeb. They have an online component that lets you enter all of your data into the website and have an online catalog as well as take donations online, let people work from home and do all of your registration. there are levels to the website all the way up to an online auction with CC processing and check out.

The software does all of the paperwork including bid sheets, reports, everything can be spit out into excel or word for emailing and comparisons. auction made GC and tax letters and lots of oter features including are also available I have used the software/website for 9 auction and it is by far the best on the market and the easiest to use. The running night of the auction is fairly simple too.

Auction! resently bought auction pay allowing them the ability to process moneys too. it is probobly the second best on the market and fairly popular.

This response is probably a little late for the original post. However, I have a Microsoft Access database posted on freeauctionsoftware.googlepages.com* . I also have some supporting Excel and Word files.

I would love to get some feedback.

Thanks,

John Bell

We purchased Auction 123 version 3.0 last year. I will using it again this year. It is pretty good and it was a fair price. I wish we would have bought the network version it is priced alot higher, but on the night of the auction I think it really would have helped if more that one person would have been able to access the program. Logging last minute items in and at check out. But for the price it is not that bad. I am looking forward to checking out their newest version 4.0. Hope that helps. SHerry

Can anyone suggest a good auction software package? (or steer me away from a bad one). I know a lot of people have used Auction! in the past, but i haven't seen any recent postings or recommendations... and i know technology changes fast! thanks
