We've been using GL Scrip for several years w/ much success. We send a flyer home with a family order form and a list of retailers. We place orders once a month to save on the shipping with the exception of December we place an order for delivery the first week and the third week of the month. We always place our order for delivery a week or so before a holiday or event. We do not pre-purchase cards to sell.
We are an elementary school of close to 400 and our teachers have suggested looking into Great Lakes scrip as a fundraiser. A school my child previously attended did it year round. Does anyone have any tips or success ideas to help us get started? We are really trying to figure out organizational issues at this point (i.e. who will sell them-teachers v. PTO, year round or not, etc.). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
