We worked with KidsArt.com It ws great since all students were sent home the package of note cards and directions. they were able to work on them at home with their parents and then orders were collected and shipped out. The cards came back in a beautiful gift bag with gold and silver stars on it and a nice ribbon.
The artwork really looked great on the cards and I love using them as Thank you cards. You can also now get stationery and a few other items made with your child's original artwork.
I'd start with some local print/copy shops and see what it would take to produce what you want.
You can find practically anything via the Internet, but I'd try local vendors first. We parent groups often ask the business community to donate and help our programs, so I feel it important to utilize local businesses when possible.
We are looking to sell Christmas Cards designed by our kids. We are having trouble deciding how to package them. ( We are a parochial K-8 and the level of art talent will definitely vary.) The actual printing process also concerns me. Scanning artwork, cost of ink, etc. It is, however, something that our principal really wants to do and I promised her that I would look into it. Has anyone ever done this before??? Thoughts?? Suggestions??
I will be eternally grateful.
