I haven't seen this company mentioned here, but it is amazingly successful at my school. There is a company, Original Works, that will take your students art and put in onto anything and everything just about. My school in WV and my former school in VA used this company. The quick overview is our art teacher takes a couple of weeks to get the kids to do a very colorful art project and we send them off to the company. The company even sends the paper to use. They send them back with a "See Before you buy It" 4"x5" magnet with you childs art work. You can then order other items the company has with that art work on it. The reason we brought in almost $4000 last year from a school of 600 K-4 is it really doesn't feel like a fund raiser. It is your own kids work. We also do it in the fall and get it back in time for wonderful Christmas presents for the whole family. Imagine Grandma Rita opening up her present from little Sally and it has a mug, a little outdoor flag and nightlight all with Sally's artwork on it. Can you tell I love this fundraiser. Just an alternative to selling cookie dough and wrapping paper.
Oh by the way, the prices are reasonable. The magnet is $4 to the school and you can set the price. We set it at $5 to make a little profit. The other stuff ranges from $5-15 or so. The other great thing is you can set the price and the company will make up the order forms for you with your prices on them. They will give you the cost to the school and suggested retail.
