Jewelry Fundraiser

We decided tonight to do this. We received samples from the company and liked most of them. We are going to have the sale end of November at the school for three days and then at a local marketplace that weekend. If we market it right I think it will do well. Everyone has to Chrismas shop and the price is affordable. We liked it because it is a service to the parents and no door to door!

Please elaborate on the legislation you are talking about. I am unaware of this and need to know if it will effect our sale. Thanks!

Just be careful -- apparently there's a lot of legistlation around there about lead content in jewelry.

I would think with a little extra effort, if you have the resources, a PTO could do something like this without a third party and sell better jewelry and make a lot more than 50%. You can order samples of ptoential products and then only buy up what you really like.

We have a lot of decent jewelry in our Holiday Shoppe.

If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down. <img src=images/smilies/smile.gif>

No. You promote dates that the sale will be offered and then set the jewelry up somewhere in the school. That's what I like about it, no door to door!

No - but it sound pretty cool. What about the boys though? Is it something they would sell?
