Hi all,
I hope it is OK to post this here as it does involve fundraising but it is more of a brag. My 11 year old son and 8 friends from his school formed a group to enter the National Oreo Jingle Contest and they were selected as one of the top 10 semifinalist.
They decide that if they win the grand prize they will donate half ($5000) to their school. I am so proud!
So this event might actually turn out to be the first fundraiser or the year for our school!
It is now up to America to vote for the top 5 that will be flown to NYC and perform their rendition of the jingle live in Time Square for a chance to win the grand prize. so if you are interested in learning more check out Oreo - NabiscoWorld and check out my son's group The Wild Orchard (the kids on the unicycles)
