We do one every year with out Summer Family Fun Bash that is open to the public. We charge $10 a car. There are 21 classes of cars. We find sponsers to help pay for the trophies so that this is a 100% profit idea. Trophies are given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd. Contact locally owned garages, detail shops, & auto dealerships. Trophies usually cost us about $700 so the sponsership will need to cover it.
If you can't raise as much in sponserships, do trophies for 1st, then dashboard medallians for 2nd & 3rd. We draw about 60-70 cars a year.
Make sure to pass out fliers to your events with sponser's names at other local car shows and auto places.
Hello All
We have an annual block party in our small town and we were thinking of hosting a car show to raise money for our PTO. Has anyone here ever hosted one or have advice or suggestions.
Thanks
