My name is Valerie. I am the PTO Co-President at an elementary school in Houston County in middle Georgia.
We changed to Jaxco for the current school year. It was a huge sucess. Our profits increased and we look for them to go up every year. The incentives offered for the kids get them so excited. We had 10 kids earn a limo ride lunch to Chick Fil-A. Over 35 kids earned the bike rally which was a huge sucess. We are a small school and we really rely on our fall fundraiser to carry us through the year. We just signed with Jaxco for the upcoming school year and couldn't be happier.
Their product is top quality. Our parents had quit buying fundraiser items because they were tired of paying good money for something to have it break a few days later. Jaxco sent us a sample set to display for our open house and the parents were able to see the quality of the product which increased our sales.
We also didn't run into the problems of an item being out of stock that parents ordered.
The most wonderful part of Jaxco, other than the personnal, product and incentives is their customer service.
Any problems our parents had went straight to the company. We didn't have to do any discrepancies at all. The company handled that with the parent.
Everything was shipped to us already sorted in boxes with the students names on the outside. Everything was in the box, including their prizes and papers telling them how to contact the company if they had any problems.
The few parents that we had missing an item or any other discrepancy told us that they loved the customer service department and they had a quick response and product delivered to them. We had 11 discrepancies and out of those, 4 people shorted some money (less than $2 each), 4 overpaid (no more than $2 each) and 3 people had written in the wrong item number. They got their stuff exchanged with no problems.
I have nothing but praise for Jaxco and the product and service they offer.
If anyone has any questions about them at all, I will be more than happy than answer them to the best of my ability.
Summerb - just a word of advice. Don't be too quick to change a fundraiser. If a particular fundraiser has worked for your group and the profits have been good, then stick with that fundraiser. Sometimes changing fundraisers can be a bad move. You don't want to put your group into a situation where they actually lose money.
You might want to send home a parent survey to ask parents what they think about adding and/or changing fundraisers since they are the ones that sell for their kids.
We recently viewed their products in person at the Expo in IL. We liked the fact that they offered some really nice NASCAR and college football items. All the items we viewed there were very nice. I would be interested hearing more about this company also. Anyone have experience with them?
Hi, I am going to be president next year and I was looking for something new this year. Jaxco industries sent me there catalogs which seem very nice and reasonable. I have never heard of them before so I was wondering if any of you know about them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Summer
