Like mommytlc dais, read through the options on the web site. Then, have a clear idea of the project you want to complete.
You'll have to estimate how many volunteers and how much things will cost. You should figure out a way to include the community. Also, be honest and don't kiss up too much to Lowe's. I think the most important thing is to appear that you know what you are doing. Second most important is that your goals match the goals of the grant.
Good Luck. Believe me, filling out the application is the easy part. Just wait until you get the $$ and have to coordinate the project.
If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down. <img src=images/smilies/smile.gif>
If you go to Lowe's website, they have ideas that you could use to apply for your grant. They also have highlights of groups that were awarded with grants. Check it out! Good luck to you.
Can anyone please give me the actual outline the key areas to hit or the plan you used to get the grant? I am clueless and trying to get this together before the deasline.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
