I am the Ways & Means person at our school which is K-5. Typically the HSA (our version of a PTO) raises 60K during the year-we are not even going to come close to that this year. I changes some of the fundraisers, which everyone wanted but they did not bring in what we were used to. I had a Casino night/silent auction that brought in 6K and normally our auctions bring in 20+K. I am looking to make 15K by the end of the school year. Is this possible? I solicited so many national companies and was not very sucessful.
I am looking for new ideas! I see other schools are sucessful with art made from the children. Unfortunately our teachers and art teacher are not receptive to this. I've heard rumors of this list that has many resources for auction solicitations. I have been doing a silent/live auction at my childrens school for the last 4 years.
