There's no link to "join PTO" because there is no formal PTO to join. If you decide to leave the PTA, you'll be deciding to go independent.
If you spend some time on this site, you'll find tons of disussion from groups who've made the switch; you'll find links to nonprofit resources; you'll find sample bylaws and more.
If you do choose to "go PTO," your group will be joining the 75% majority of groups that are now independent.
Hello, we switched from PTO to PTA approx 3 years ago and it has been a nightmare
We have a small elem school (300 kids) and very active parents and/or volunteers.
We want to switch back to PTO from PTA because of all the "red-tape" we're always
running into. "You can't do this, you can't do that".....it's a mess. But I have been unable
to find the link to receive info on the PTO and how we go about doing it.
Can someone help?
