Oh please, we are so trying to move past the pta.I'm sure many schools are very happy with the pta. However, our school is NOT. Especially when you have a member of the PTA Assoc. on your school pta board. It's rediculous, they do not have a child in our school,who are they to tell us what should be done with the money that is raised. It really is time for pta understand, that schools and especially PARENTS..no longer want to keep sending their money off.....to a association when it is so needed in our school for the CHILDREN. A big subject that I think the pta seems to have forgotten about. It is NOT about the pta, its about the children of the school.They should never be taking that money that we so need for our school. That is why pto's are popping up so fast.Parents are really tired of the pta getting that money, and really,,,,what do they do for our school....."um not much!!! I say good for all the pto's and schools who are thinking of becoming a pto.
