RE: Local PTOs. There's no ready-made database of local PTO contacts, but I just googled "PTO school alabama" and quite a few sites come up. Not all are Alabama PTOs, but a good many are. The vast majority of parent groups in Alabama are independent (not PTAs).
Our local PTA board wants to change to PTO but am having resistance from public school administrators, are there any public al PTOs i could talk to
