You can download contest sheets from boxtops-- they are a 1 page sheet that you tape or glue on the box tops to and the kids can color the page-- you put approximately 10-12 box tops per page... and your coodinator for box tops can print them off for you... we do a movie night and offer 1 free ticket to each student the class that turns in all their sheets for that month. Movie night is a school wide event that we charge a $1.00 per person at the door- so the kids feel pretty special if they get a free pass to come in.
our school does a contest like this. Every month we take the winning 2 classes and they get a simple treat or a prize (ex: tatoo, pencil) At the end of the school year, the top class gets a pizza party from the PTO.
We've often done a gift card to a local office supply store for the teacher of the class that brought in the most. We found that this was an incentive to get the teacher involved (meaning she/he would often remind the kids to do it) in the contest.

We hold a boxtops contest for our school. Every month the homeroom that collects the most boxtops receives a treat supplied by our Parent's Club. Some teachers chose ice cream or other inexpensive snacks. This has worked well for us for the past several years.
