Hi Rockne, this is the only board I do. I'm not very good with all of this stuff but I'm learning slowly.The problem I'm having is after I post,I some how get logged out and I have to log back in,is this normal?Also when I go to the hot topic board and hit a topic I get a whole page of stuff , how do i get right to the message I wanted?

I started running message boards in 1996 on a scrapbooking site.

Features I like:

Ranking of posters- it is really nice to see if this is someones first post or 10001 post. (You have this) I also like sites where the posters rated by the other participants. So Rockne might have a 5 star rating because your info is always reliable.

Some way to bookmark or subscribe to (all) threads- For an example you can go to

A back button to allow me to go back to the last menu I was on.

Can't you drop-box your search area with common things like this?

Also, I am in favor of PMs. I think the members should be able to figure out what is worth sharing and what is more private.

It allows us to communicate and maintain privacy, too.

All message boards become cliquish. It does not disrupt things too much here, though. I think PMs lessen that, too, as the inside-joke type things end up getting PM'ed.

I love this site. BUT, the one thing that drives me crazy is when people post looking for general ideas.. for things for which there are already DOZENS of answers on this site. examples:

I am doing a Box Tops contest, any ideas?
I am doing a Movie Night, any ideas?

Can you block these viagra messages and the one that comes on pretty frequently with the junk? the guy that just puts in numbers and jibberish stuff.
