Principals have told me that many websites about school rankings are commercial based and the data may not be raw.
The most factual info seems to come from your state dept of ed...google 'NY state dept of ed' or whatever your state is, and you should find links to scores data, trends, demographics, reduced lunch program, class sizes, ed level of teachers, even education level of parents, basically just about everything and more, you ever wanted to know about any one state's schools workings and attendees.
Does anyone know where to find the information on where our states are ranked in education. I am interested in the elementary schools the most. Thank you in advance for your help.
