No longer with the school district

18 years 10 months ago #73810 by mykidsmom
You read that right! Our Charter school is no longer with the school district but joining the Charter School Institute (I can't remember the entire name but it's refer to as CSI).
After so many years of problems and constant hoops to jump through, not to mention the fact that none of the charter schools in the district are on any list of schools that you see, it is just time for us to change.

The CSI it's self is fairly new so there are many conserns there but as far as funding, our funding really doesn't change it's just that we aren't competing with new and old disrtict schools (our district is building 3-4 new elementary, middle, high schools) for funding from bonds.

Me....I'm an optimist and have talked quite a bit with our School Board (all parents) and they have been looking at the pros and cons for the last six months. I trust them too. Just should be interresting. Never a dull moment!
