Has anyone heard of this? There's no contact info. Strange. They just set up all these schools, but apparently few know about it. Or maybe it's just me.
Last spring I decided I'd like to try and get an online discussion board started for our school. A few parents I approached on this topic seemed interested in helping, although the PTO said they're not interested.
Now I'm getting bogged down looking for a good forum host. I've only ever created and moderated a Yahoo group, and while Yahoo groups have advantages, I'm leaning more towards other types of boards since you can categorize and segregate types of posts (like this board.)
The board would have to be:
Free
Without offensive ads
Accessible by membership only (both read AND post)
Reliable and stable
