Our PTO uses one general theme per year -- we use it on the cover of, and a little blurb within, our Parents' Handbook; we use it at PTO meetings; it's the decal for our spirit wear t-shirts; and we try to form our yearbook around the same theme. For "Pride of Lorraine" we used lions on the cover and individual pages; for "New Millenium/Old Values" we used a smiley face, a daisy, and a lion face as the zero's in "2000"; "Our Children/Our Hope..." we used students' drawings throughout; "Celebrate America" used flags and patriotic symbols; "The Future Looks Bright" used sun, glasses, and predictions; for "Charting the Right Course" we had on the cover a picture of Earth composed of many, many micro-mini pictures of all the students. So ..... what has everyone else used???
Since my older son was in kindergarten, we've used the following themes:
'99- The Pride of Lorraine (our mascot is a lion)
'00- New Millenium...Old Values
'01- The Future Looks Bright
'02- Celebrate America
'03- Our Children, Our Lives, Our Hope For A
