The social section is how I found this webiste last week! It is the most controversial area of our PTO.
Question: Does anyone not have a social "commitee" chair or should we just have different people running different social events? Any ideas on both are helpful. I am a new pres. trying to help eliminate problems this year. Thanks. Lisa
I love the social section. I've been wanting something like that for years. I was actually going to post on it yesterday but I couldn't think of a name for a heading. I've been thinking the whole forum was a little slow this week. I just figured a bunch of people was on vacation. Anyhow, here's my esigniture to keep the social section...Carmon Brooks.
Maybe you could combine 2 of the other forums to make room for the social forum. Like School Family Events & Involvement Ideas and Challenges. Or Day to Day PTO Management & Teachers/Principals. :confused:

Keep the social section. It is summer and it has been beautiful out. The social section serves an obvious need and when school gets going again, we will definately need it.
Please keep in mind that its summer and we are all busy with our kids. I am on this site just about every day during the school year but over the summer its like once every 2 weeks.
Please think about keeping the Social section.
