This is a favorite of mine. It was my farewell letter as PTO president when I "retired" a couple of years ago. Now I'm president again and I'm glad those bridges are there! I think it's a nice sentiment for the teachers. Even though their school is closing, they have built bridges for their students and they will be with them always.
You are not the kind of
Teacher who only teaches
The things written on paper...
You taught me how to live life
and how to think for myself.
I can never repay you.
I can only thank you
and try to make you proud of me.
You are a treasure that can never be forgotten.
If you don't like that one, try doing a search using the keyword poem. You should get a lot to choose from.
I know it's a holiday weekend, but I know someone out there can help! Our school is closing and aside from the parents and kids being a mess...we feel so bad for our teachers. Does anyone have a great little goodbye poem or sentiment to pass on to our wonderful teachers?
