Our school is still doing Campbell's labels. If anyone has any they want to donate please send them.Donna Wodarczyk, PTO Incentive Coordinator, 138 Laurel Crossing Drive, Lugoff, SC, 29078
Well we never had a successful Campbell's program and when I came to office 2 years ago, we did away with it. Some staff still turn them in and I made a pact with the group, since I didn't want to mess with them or tell the staff we didn't want them, that I would donate $.25 for everyone we got and then get rid of the labels. I explained all the reasons Tim doesn't like them and then some for doing this. Anyway, I have donated less than $5 in that time but our Box Tops program has increased in participation every year. That and cash is cash. I support those of you who will do anything to support your school but we just don't have the man power to make that program as successful as the $7-800 we get from Box Tops. What is that saying, "Money talks?" But I will try to keep the labels I get to send to some poor soul on this forum next year.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

I've been good, didn't make any cracks about labels being worth only a penny or the costs of mailing labels outweighingthe value of the labels or anything like that
That is so cool!! Although I do believe I did hear Tim cringe a little at the mention of labels. I think that is a great tradition and your kids got to learn about nation wide team work and a little geography on the side (but we won't tell them that )
Thanks to all that read the post a few weeks ago asking (begging) for a few Campbells labels to reach the necessary amount to place the order.
Envelopes from Oregon, Ohio, Wyoming and Missouri were a welcome site.
One by one, they all added up, the goal was reached. SUCCESS!!!
Thanks,
