There are so many companies out there and I feel your pain!!! We have done a hardcover yearbook for the past two years with Jostens and had a really bad experience (could have been our rep, but I just don't like the way they handled what was messed up in our book!). We had gotten quotes from Lifetouch, Jostens, Taylor Publishing, Walters, and another smaller company out of NJ called School Publications Company. This year we contracted with School Publications because their prices were so much better than what we got with the BIG companies! I checked out a couple of their references and all sounded very good. We are probably going to order 500 copies of a hardcover 120 page book at a cost of less than $14 per book! No business ad selling to make up the difference, YAY! We also get to design our own cover with this company. The only "issue" some people may have is that SPC does not offer any personalization options. But on the bright side, that does make distribution so much easier! Please feel free to email me if you have any questions! I love the yearbook project and encourage everyone to have one for their kiddoes. Two years ago, I had a child come up to me and say "Thank you for putting me in the yearbook, I have never been in one before." and that just keeps me going. To give a child that sense of belonging to their school is priceless!

I've been around the country in thirty days, researching yearbook companies that is. I've been checking out locals as well as national companies.

Anyone heard of, or used Walter Publishing or Custom Yearbooks out of MN?

Any other companies out there besides Lifetouch and Jostens? TIA, Kate
