I used to take care of the school's newsletter, and my favorite thing to do was to take something profound that a parent said and put in the newsletter.
My quote bar this past year started with the something the past president said... "It's a matter of principle." So true.
If we could all become slightly better because of one smart thing someone said in the past week, we'd be an incredible society!
Here is a funny one I used in one of my newsletters awhile back!
Spell Check!
(source unknown)
Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.
Eye strike a key and type a word
and weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write

My chequer tolled me sew.
Help! I create a weekly newsletter for our school and am looking for poems, jokes, cartoons, etc. that I can include each week. Any concerning volunteers, school, fundraising etc. would be greatly appreciated. About a year ago, there was a link to a site that had these available, but now I can't find it! Thanks for your help!
