We use job shadowing in an (adult) leadership program I co-host. In our case, the class participant is paired with an Executive in his/her field at a different institution. The participant spends an entire day with the Executive. It's not called "mentoring" because the relationship isn't long-term.
Just a couple of questions for all of you involved parents:
1. Do you know what job shadowing is?
2. Do you know about the benefits of job shadowing?
3. Are you interested in knowing how to provide more of these opportunities to your children?
