I would like network with other Colorado PTOToday board members. I would be interested in sharing the names of helpful local businesses and learning about others in my area through other PTO Today members in Colorado. It would be great to know other people here as well.
If I had known someone here I might have called them up to take my grab bags for their school because my principle didn't like them. She didn't see the value in a lot of the things that I brought in for our silent auction and by that point I would have been happy to just let someone else take them than argue. They ended up giving them away as it was. (She may have a different opinion next year since most of the things in our silent auction brought in quite a bit despite her doubts.)
So what do you think? Anyone interested? I don't expect a ton of responces. But even just 5 of us meeting in a park to chat would be nice. I'm trying to "work smarter, not harder' with our auction this year. I think it would be useful to trade notes. Making new friends is always a good thing too.
