My girl friend is adopting two brothers and we await their arrival this spring with much excitment!

Welcome to the USA Jason from my fabulous five in Denver!

For all of you that I met at the Dallas conference, I just wanted to update you on my new arrival.

Jason Yasin arrived in the US on October 13. He is currently in kindergarten and doing very well.

Jason is my adopted son from Bombay, India. He is six years old and the most beatiful child you can imagine.

I had wanted to call him Carter, but apparently that means something like poop in Hindi, because he rejected that American name immediately. He however did like the name Scooby Doo and for the week we were in India wanted to be called that. Once we were home, he decided Jason was a good name.

He knows quite a bit of English but we continue to work on vocabulary as well as pronunciation (?). The school has been wonderful. They have helped me find resources that I could not have possibly gotten on my own.
